Please note the club's Annual General Meeting will held at 7 pm on Wednesday, the 13th June at the club house.
All members are welcome to hear the progress of the club and its future plans. Additionally, the full committee will be up for re-election. If you are interested, consider joining the committee to help steer the direction of the club.
A light supper will be provided at the conclusion of the meeting
The club's annual working bee is scheduled for the 10th March at 10:00 am. Please come prepared to pitch in on our annual clean up of the club house and surrounds . This will then be followed by a club supplied lunch and social tennis.
Due to extreme weather forecast on Saturday (27 Jan 2018) it has been decided to cancel the working bee and social afternoon that had been advertised. The committee will look at re-scheduling and advise in due course. Apologies for any inconvenience that may arise.
The committee is pleased to announce that Natalie Dunphy has agreed to undertake the role of Night Tennis Coordinator and will fully perform this role next year. In the meantime, she will be learning the ropes from Sue Constance to ensure a smooth transition.
A big "Thank You " to both Natalie and Sue from the club. Sue has been our NTC for over 20 years and is deserving of a long earned rest.
The Junior Club Championships will be held the 9th September.
Girls and Boys competitions will be provided in both singles and doubles formats.
Please note the closing date for entry into the Junior Club Championships is the 1st September.

The CTC president, Stephen Liu, was very pleased to recently accept a cheque of $1000 from Bendigo Bank. This grant was a result of a club member who recently obtained a home loan from the bank and had nominated the club as the sponsor.
It was a case of win,win,win as not only did the club received a very substantial cheque but the member was very pleased with their loan and the Bendigo Bank received a new and very satisfied ...
Our current, long standing Night Tennis Coordinator, Sue Constance, is leaving the neighbourhood and will no longer be able to perform this duty . If you are willing and able to undertake this role then please contact the President, Stephen Liu (0411952028), or Sue to get further details. The duties are not be particularly onerous but are a vital function for the club.

Boroondara Council is conducting an initiative during the month of February to publicise the availability and attractiveness of tennis within the area, and to encourage as many people as possible to participate. Many thanks to the approximately 15 members who attended to assist with the working bee on Saturday 28th January. A great deal was achieved, Including re-fixing the shade cloth on the bottom courts, trimming intruding herbage above the path next to the bottom courts and from the adjoining property next to the top courts tidying the garden, cleaning the fridge, washing down the veranda and other general maintenance tasks.
